My passion is to tell the stories unfolding through my camera lens, capturing the moments that matter most. I want to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.

Photography became a love of mine when I was in high school where I took photos for the school newspaper and the yearbook. My senior year I became the photo editor. I loved it! My dream was to go to school for photography but no college near me offered it as a major.

Years went by and main passion in life, dance became my main focus. I got into pole dance fitness and became an instructor. I taught for 13 years as well as competed in pole fitness competitions. In 2022 I was diagnosed with a nerve injury. I tried to keep teaching and dancing but had to walk away in 2023.

Having just lost my career I had to re-think everything. I was lost but the draw to photography had always been hanging around, so I decided to go back to college and major in photography. In school I am taking every photo class I can as well as digital design classes and art. I even did a documentary shoot for my photojournalism class featuring the theater group at a local high school.

Currently I am also taking part in the work study program at AACC with the athletics department taking photos at games. It reminds me of my high school days taking football photos but now I truly know what I am doing.

My goal is to be a well-rounded photographer. I don’t like putting myself in a box because you never know what opportunities are going to present themselves.
